AMA District 7 Championship Enduro Series Points for 2001
AMA District 7 Championship Enduro Series points standings subject to change, see notes below.

NOTES:
1. Rider Classes are AA, A, B, C, Masters, and Women

2. Rider Divisions are within the classes, for example A-250, A-4STK, A-200, etc...

3. District 7 points are awarded for how each rider did against his District 7 competitor at the event, points dropped against points dropped, not for where he finished in his class against every ECEA competitor in his class at the event.

4. Points are awarded as follows for each Class and Division within the class.

1st- 20 pts.    6th- 7 pts.
2nd- 16 pts.    7th- 5 pts.
3rd- 13 pts.    8th- 3 pts.
4th- 11 pts.    9th- 2 pts.
5th- 9 pts.    10th- 1 pt.

DNF placement will receive Class and Division points, based on placement within the class/division.
Riders are responsible for placing scorecards in the DNF box at the events so the club can report scores otherwise the club scores the rider DNS (Did Not Start) and cannot be awarded District 7 points for the event.

DNF "Points Dropped" are calculated to prevent a DNF rider from dropping fewer points than a finishing rider as follows, based on the last check the rider was scored at before DNF:

Check Dropped Check Dropped
18000 pts.    94000 pts.
27500 pts.    103500 pts.
37000 pts.    113000 pts.
46500 pts.    122500 pts.
56000 pts.    132000 pts.
65500 pts.    141500 pts.
75000 pts.    151000 pts.
84500 pts.

5. End of year awards program is for District 7 ENDURO card holders.
District 7 Hare Scramble card holders are not ENDURO card holders automatically. Additional District 7 cards cost $3 each (see application).

6. Divisions within a Class will combined at the end of the year for end of season Trophies. Trophy classes are A, A-SR, A-SSR, B, B-SR, B-SSR, VET (A/B), C, Masters, Women.

7. IMPORTANT NOTE: Some referee reports mailed from the club include competitors for only the first 10 places for the event, or do not report DNF finishes.

If you placed outside of the top ten or were forced to take a DNF at the event, you still qualify for District 7 series points.
It's important that you let us know how many points you dropped if they aren't listed here or are missing from the referee report.

8. Only 9 of these events will count for points, each rider has one throw away. At the end of the season, the lowest scoring event for each rider will be dropped from the points. The points page will be updated to reflect the dropped event.

9. We are only human and can make mistakes, look over your points and your competitors points carefully and report mistakes/corrections IMMEDIATELY to Chuck Marler (click on his name to send mail to him)

10. If your name is not listed here at all, but you've been signing the District 7 signup sheets at the events, you didn't make it to the official District 7 Enduro Roster.
Either you forgot to send in your district 7 application, or forgot to check "Enduro" on the application.
If you did send in your District 7 application and checked ENDURO on the application, Contact Bob Schueller , A.M.A. District 7 Membership Chairman,
or Chuck Marler A.M.A. District 7 Enduro Chairman.

11. We put your class and division as the class and division you entered your first enduro and those are the classes and divisions where we checked results for you. If you changed divisions or advanced classes in ECEA or AMA, you still accrue D7 points in the class you started the series. Signing the signup sheet at the event with the class you are entering that day is important. If you don't sign the sign up sheet, you might see no points listed for the races after you advanced classes or changed division
(example: If you advanced from C to B or from B to A, changed from Open to 4-STRK, etc...and all of a sudden show no points dropped in the D7 points standings postings)
If this happened to you, email Chuck and tell him what happened so he can correct your points dropped and recalculate points standings.

12. If your name is on the list and you have zero points, you might have started attending events late in the season competing in the series and didn't sign the sign up sheet.
I stopped looking for every rider who had a card but didn't race the first few races, assuming that some riders who signed up for enduro cards didn't ride the events. Knowing what class the rider rode, and his signing the signup sheet is important so we know where to look for his points dropped in the referee reports. If you are one of these who fell in the cracks, email Chuck and tell him what events you rode.
I'll look for your name in the results and update the scores and points

13. Riders can only accrue District 7 Championship Series points if they have a current District 7 Enduro card. If you decide to become a D7 Enduro member at the 4th or 5th race into the series, you do not accrue points for the previous events.
A grace period of the 2nd or 3rd race in the series will be allowed for those riders who have not recieved an Enduro card in the mail yet but sent in their application. Series points will be awarded for the previous events providing the rider signed the D7 signup sheet at the earlier events.
You can print and mail an application to District 7 by clicking here.

NOTE: Riders with no District 7 # listed in the results might be carrying Hare Scramble cards, or you brain farted sending in your application. ALL RIDERS SHOULD CHECK THIS and contact Chuck Marler before he deletes your points for not being a District 7 Enduro member. June 15th is the cutoff date to obtain your card and qualify for points, even if you signed the signup sheets at the events.
